25th Annual Hall of Fame


The Convenience Store Industry Hall of Fame induction ceremony and dinner is hosted each year by Convenience Store News and the event's sponsors. This event is held in the fall. Guests include close associates of the honorees, retailer members of Convenience Store News Editorial Advisory Board, members of the Hall of Fame Blue Ribbon selection committee, past Hall of Famers, and retailers invited by the sponsors.

5th Annual Spirit Awards for Community Outreach


The CSNews Spirit Awards celebrates convenience store retailers that are involved in community service programs aimed at bettering the lives of people in the markets they serve. One Grand Award and three awards based on c-store chain size are presented.

Entries will be accepted starting June 1.
 

   
 

15th Annual Best New Products Awards

The original Best New Products Contest for the c-store industry. These awards recognize the best products introduced during the past 12 months. Awards are presented in 24 product categories.


 

 

 

 

  6th Annual Store Design Contest

These design awards honor retailers who have created the most exciting, innovative and shopper-friendly looks for their stores. This year, for the first time, there are two award programs:one for chains and one for single stores.

Consumers are shopping convenience stores slightly more often than they were a year ago, but the nation’s economic doldrums continue to be a drag on spending, according to Convenience Store News’ annual consumer study – Realities of the Aisle 2011.

After reporting a 6.1-percent sales increase in 2010, convenience store retailers expect to generate increased sales and profits from their foodservice operations this year.

CSNews' 2011 Industry Report Study

The convenience store industry had a good year last year. The 13.5 percent total industrywide sales increase was a big improvement over the more than 20-percentage point drop in 2009.
